Dr Fuentes joined St Vincent's Emergency Department in 2004 with becoming co-director 2017. He also works as a Senior Staff Specialist at the Princess Alexandrea Hospital, Brisbane. Dr Fuentes also has worked as the State's pre-hospital, retrieval coordinator and aero-medical retrieval services as well as involvement in international disaster medicine operations and third world medicine.
